Siemens IB968 passive clamshell cards are a factory encoded passive card that can be easily used in pairing with any Cotag readers. The cards are fully compatible with Cotag hands-free reader's‚ the reading range is approximately 34 cm. With Cotag proximity readers‚ the reading range with the IB968 varies between 3 and 11 cm. This card is a budget-friendly option which doesn’t require a battery to function.
